SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions apply to the SunshineIsFree text messaging program. By opting in, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Program Description

SunshineIsFree, an Arizona-based residential solar consultancy, sends text messages to customers and prospective customers who opt in. Messages may include:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders for solar consultations
  • Follow-ups on solar savings estimates and proposals
  • Project and installation updates
  • Responses to your questions and customer support
  • Promotional offers, such as voucher and referral offers (only if you separately opt in to marketing messages)

2. How You Opt In

You opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our website contact form at sunshineisfree.us, or by texting us first and agreeing to receive messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of receiving a consultation.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your appointments and interactions with us.

4. Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details. SunshineIsFree does not charge for text messages.

5. How to Opt Out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to the number that messaged you. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To join again, sign up the same way you did the first time or text START.

7. Carrier Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your wireless carrier and device.

8. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and the account holder of the mobile number, or have the account holder's permission, to opt in.

9. Privacy

We respect your privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
